Yeah, for the past month or so, I've been mooching wireless connection off my neighbors and recently, they seem to have none. Thus, I have no internet. >.< I'm only able to post this now because I'm using my brothers internet. We did have a wireless adapter but it somehow got fried and we haven't had the money to buy a new one. Uber suckage.

I'm such an idiot.

Like it could ever happen. It never will. What difference would a few weeks make? I can't believe I hoped it would. My mom said why not? Don't NOT talk about it. It's making you happy to think about it right now. I told her I didn't want to because I don't want to get my hopes up if it doesn't happen.

I'm frustrated at her for keeping my hopes high.

I'm mad at myself for having hope.

Worst of all, I'm mad at the situation for bringing me hope.

Why do I think these things when THERE'S NO HOPE? They didn't happen and they never will.

It hurts when I break and I'm breaking myself AGAIN.

Why am I so fucking stupid?

FUCK YES I'm being emo again. I'm only typing this because I need to get this off of my mind and because there's more important things I SHOULD be thinking about. THIS of all things SHOULD NOT be on my mind and I’m PISSED.

I want it soooo badly to happen. Every moment of every day I want it to happen. Just once, I want something I've dreamed of to happen.

Greetings friends, watchers, and passersby

As you can see, I have a new CSS yeah, I was wanting to use this one for quite some time but I never had the time to thoroughly go through it and set it up. >.< My bad Mea Culpa

Anyways, not really a whole lot to update. I've been working on some important things like Prizes and trades as well as some personal stuuf that has been neglected for longer than I can remember. >.< Haven't really been pleased with my art here recently which I'll get into later on in this journal.

I was also wanting to apologize for neglecting dA here as well. Haven't had much of a desire to be on despite the fact that I have things that need done like talking to some friends that need help. ~Other Stuff~

Now then, on a more serious note, about my art. (No, that doesn't sound vain and selfish at all.

) I've been disliking my art here recently and it's frustrating. Yeah, you always hear people saying things like "You should like yourself for who you are" and stuff. Well, I do for the most part but when it comes to my art, I see nothing but improvement. One of my friends, yes, if you're reading this you should know who you are, is always telling me that my art inspires them and such. I don't see how.

I mean, I know for some artists, no offense what so ever, might see me as amazing because they are still improving their art but I don't at all. When I look at my work, past and present, I see nothing but things that I can change or make better. I still have a long way to go. Doing nothing but drawing pretty characters on a piece of paper isn't going to get me anywhere, regardless of how good it may look. I want to draw extravangant pieces of art. I want to get into landscaping, painting, watercolor. I want to create worlds and, as well as worlds already in exsistance, be able to illustrate them so other people can see what I see in my mind. Until I can do that or come relatively close, comments like "This is some of the best art I've seen!!" Is only going to make me more frustrated.

So, to the friend I typed about above, I'm sorry if it seems like I get so mad at you sometimes. Improvement is the only thing on my mind right now. >.<

So, with that being typed out, I’ll be taking a break from dA for a while so as to be able to focus more on my art. I’ll check my page from time to time and reply to comments and such but other than that, I’m not here.

Greetings friends, watchers, and passersby!

First, before I get to the actual purpose of this journal, I want everyone to know that my laptop is still giving me a hard time. It was working for a while then, for some reason, yesterday morning when I turned it on to check a few things, it didn’t seem to want to start up all the way. >.< A little annoying. Not sure if I can get it fixed anytime soon so just giving everyone a heads-up.

In other news, I’M ON MAH SUMMER BREEEEEEAK!!!!!!

Yeah, way excited. I’m going to be drawing like crazy! Finishing up my trades, prizes and other things like requests and personal artses. That, and I just might have a part-time job working at a snow cone stand not to far away from where I live. I’m happy because job = MONEY!! Definitely buying a scanner if I can save up enough. XD

Hell yes people! I absolutely loved my last contest and all of the beautiful entries so I’m having another one!!!

THEME

Draw a picture depicting a character changing from good to evil or vise versa. And, in the description, write a short story describing how and/or why the character is changing. Not too hard right?

Now, just to clear it up, I’m not judging on skill. It’s all about creativity and how you portray the theme that I’m looking for in a winner.

Also, if anyone would like to help me judge, just let me know but if you judge, you won’t be able to enter. Wouldn’t be quite fair if a judge participated would it?

REQUIREMENTS

~

~ It has to be an existing character. You can’t make up a character for the soul purpose of this contest.
~ You can submit up to two separate characters with two separate stories. That means you can submit up to a total of FOUR entries.
~ Can be done traditionally or digitally. Preferably no photomanipulations.
~ Your character can be a wolf, human, anthro, horse, or a creation of your own so long as it is already an EXISTING CHARACTER. I want a variety of characters so everyone is welcome to enter!!!!

The judging will be based on a point scale which is as follows:

~ Creativity: From 1 (lowest) to 25 (highest)
~ Followed the Theme: 1 to 5
~ Had a good supporting story: 1 to 10 (I’ll be lenient with this one for those out there who don’t write very much. ^_^ )
~ How well the picture matches the story: 1 to 5 (I don’t want to be guessing how the picture goes with the story. >.< )
